Who we are
The Brothers Markle is a sign company at 3530 Pharmacy Avenue, Unit 1, Toronto, ON M1W 2S7. Questions about your information go to info@brothersmarkle.com or 416-495-9888. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Quote requests and messages
When you send the quote form, we receive your name, phone number, email, the details you type and any photos or drawings you attach. We use them only to answer you, prepare drawings and prices, and keep a record of the job. They are stored in our Google Workspace account (email, Google Sheets and Google Drive) and are seen only by our team. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Analytics and advertising
This site uses Google Analytics to see which pages are useful, and Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether our ads lead to quote requests. These services set cookies and receive technical details such as your browser, pages visited and the page you came from. We see totals, not individuals. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or opt out at Google and in your Facebook ad settings.
WhatsApp and social media
Our WhatsApp Business team number is used by our own staff to send us photos and notes from finished jobs and to approve website updates. Messages to it are handled through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and stored in our Google Workspace account. If someone outside our team writes to it, we reply once with our contact details and do not use the message for anything else. Photos of finished signs may be published on this website and on our Facebook and Instagram pages. They show the sign and the building, not customers' personal information.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and job records are kept as long as needed for the job, warranty and tax records, usually up to seven years, then deleted. You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time, unless we must keep it by law.
Your choices
Email info@brothersmarkle.com to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
